CEI's GENIUS City program focuses on 6 key elements to build economy in economically depressed areas. This creates opportunities to solve problems that have plagued communities for generations and upgrades cities to be more in line with environmental goals.
While a smart city may use data to identify problems, GENIUS Cities identify opportunities for the betterment of the community as a whole.
This means that every person regardless of background will be free to chart their own destiny. Finding Employment, Education, Entertainment, Business Opportunities, Free Public Spaces to enjoy, and Being able to afford quality Food, Water, and Energy.
Other smart city developers focus on top-down government and corporate control. A GENIUS City places control where it belongs: With the people in the community.
Primarily we focus on WHERE people live and work.
